Walk down the aisle in any store you will find a wall dedicated to skin care. The desire for cleaner healthy skin is a constant mission among the sexes. People today want skin that is soft and not too dry or oily. Products that will get rid of the unsightly skin blemishes over night and will buy a number of products to get the results.
Some people who can afford it get facials that cost a few hundred dollar so they come out looking like a million bucks. But if you are like me spending a great deal of money on a facial at a spa is out of the question, so you look for more affordable methods. You can find affordable alternative in your local supermarket along with the very pricey on the shelf as well. All claiming to be able to assist you with your particular skin care needs for all skin types from oily to dry to itchy to red irritated skin and blotchy skin.
However most of the cleansers used are too harsh and abrasive leaving the burning and stinging sensation which leads to red irritated skin. To compensate for the burning and the stinging people may apply creams and lotions. Some creams, lotions and yes even make up are too heavy and they clog the pores causing acne. I don't know about you but I am not a fan of the acne days. So what is a person to do for healthy skin with out breaking their budget?
Well sit back and relax because having beautiful skin does not have to be expensive or painful. Here are some simple home remedies that can be very relaxing and enjoyable.
Today is Cucumber Mask which assist with the tightening of the skin. It is great to for those days when you are sleep deprived and what to hide those puff eyes and dark circles. It is also an astringent that reduces oily skin.
Things that you will need:
Slice a cucumber and add to food processor (reserving two thin slices for puffy eyes in the refrigerator). Mix cucumber until it is a pulp. Add the white of one egg, and teaspoon of lemon juice, teaspoon of witch hazel and teaspoon honey and mint. Mix well and then refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Apply mixture over the face and neck area avoiding the eyes. Apply the two cucumber slices that was set aside onto your eyelids (this will reduce any puffiness) and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Then rise with a warm water being careful to pat the sink dry with a towel.
