In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The Word was with God in the beginning. Everything came into being through the Word, and without the Word nothing came into being. What came into being through the Word was life, and the life was the light for all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness doesn’t extinguish the light.
God is Lord, the law, the order, the ruler, and the authority over everything thing that takes place in our lives. His Word is law and must be obeyed. To resent or the rebel against his Word is to rebel against God.
Now what does it mean to rebel. The dictionary states it to mean of a person that resists authority, control, or convention. As a Christian what does it mean when you rebel against the Word of God.
We as human beings naturally embrace the things that we like and reject the things we dislike. Does not matter how big or small or even who it may harm if we dislike it then we reject it.
It is clear that God loves us but we are not very appreciative of that love when prevents us from doing things that we desire to do.
The Word was with God in the beginning. Everything came into being through the Word, and without the Word nothing came into being. What came into being through the Word was life, and the life was the light for all people.
Everything that happens in our lives whether good or bad is for a greater purpose. One that will define who we are in our service to the Father. How can we claim to have faith when we lose it at the first sign of trouble.
People work to become better at so many things in so many ways but their faith in God. They will lift weights to strengthen their bodies or seek out a mentor to train their minds.
These teachers will give them nearly impossible tasks that are painful, but because you trust them you do it and you will keep on doing everything near impossibly that is thrown in your direction.
For many Christians it is difficult to grasp the understanding of why does God allow bad things to happen to good people. It is far too troubling to think a god would send a debilitating hardship into a faithful servant's life. But how faithful can you be when that faith is challenged with a hardship?
Faith needs to be strengthened just like everything else about you. You need to become stronger in faith so you can stand as a testimony to others whether your children, family, friends, or a stranger.
Instead of asking God to move your mountain thank him for your mountain and send him praises in all situations in your life and watch your faith increase and peace come to your soul.
