National Syndicated radio personality and bestselling author Michael Baisden has written and directed a relationship documentary entitled “Do Women Know What They Want?
In the documentary Michael states: “I’ve been writing and talking about relationships for over 18 years. And there’s one thing I’ve learned is that there is nothing more challenging for a man than to figure out what a woman wants? … I’m not even sure if women even know what they want?”
The purpose of this documentary was to “take the conversation from the studio to the streets to find out What Women want inside and outside the bedroom.” Michael hits the streets of Dallas, New York and Atlanta asking a series of questions to both women and men on relationships. The topics covered things like cheating, girlfriends, sex, interracial dating, passion parties and even open relationships.
Posing the question to one sex and then taking their response and presenting it to opposite sex made for a very interesting and informative dialogue. So, if this documentary hits the big screen be prepared to miss a lot of the questions and or responses. As soon as the title hits the screen “Do Women Know What They Want?” The chatter began.
In true Michael Baisden form he engages in conversation with participants in a way that will make you want to join in. (and some did)
“You left a man you love, had children with, you were financially secure because he had sex with another woman? Would you recommend that? That a woman should leave, if the only problem in the relationship was that the man had sex with another woman?”
“A woman who is 25, how many is too many?” (sex partners)
You will appreciate the open and honest responses from the participants. The realness brings about laughter, tears, even a taste of anger on the screen that finds its way to the audience. There were cheers and applause for answers that was agreed upon by the majority. Comments not accepted received gasps and laughter from the audience. Side bar conversations pop off and of course there were many “experts” in the house who had no problem shouting their response at the screen. lol
Although the title is geared toward women, the documentary is for everyone. In order to be truly helpful in building relationships, it is presented in a manner to get the view points of both male and females of all ages and backgrounds.
It’s everything you can expect when talking about relationships. It’s informative, entertaining, and sure to have you and your friends continuing the conversation well after it is over.
I don’t know if you will be able to walk away with and answer to the question “Do Women Know What They Want?” But you will at least have a pretty good idea on how women view things. As well as how the men think on that same issue. Look on the bright side, at the end of the day a relationship is between one man and one woman. If you want to simplify things, you only need to know what the one you are interested in wants.
